Kaouenn

Kaouenn offers Infusions, Syrups, Body Oils, Balms and Hydrolats.

All the plants used come from Gwendoline's own production and harvesting.

The cultivation garden is nestled in the middle of her cider apple orchard in Trévérec, a small

village in the Côtes d?Armor region.

The wild-picking sites are carefully selected in unspoilt areas of the surrounding

surrounding countryside.

Planting, tending, harvesting and processing: everything is done by hand, with care and enthusiasm!

enthusiasm!

Fresh, some of the plants are gently steam distilled to produce hydrolats. Dried, the plants are transformed into infusions, syrups and cosmetics (oils and balms).

Gwendoline grows around 30 different plants, some of which are perennial, so will remain in place for several years (Mint, Melissa, Verbena, Blackcurrant, Rose, Lavender, Thyme, Rosemary, etc.), while others are annual, so are replanted every year (Chamomile, Calendula, Cornflower, etc.).

She works the soil as little as possible, and the mulch comes from pruning the orchard.

The plants are grown with the greatest respect for the environment and biodiversity, in line with the specifications of Organic Agriculture and the Syndicat des SIMPLES.

Gwendoline is also a wild gatherer of Ash, Elder, Nettle, Bramble? plants that are easily found in nature.

You can find her every Tuesday morning at the Paimpol market on Place Gambetta, or contact her to place an order (by parcel or pick-up at the farm). Herbal teas also on sale at the Falaises d'Armor Tourist Office, Lanvollon.
