Port de Pors Guyon
Where exactly is Pors Guyon harbour located?
Pors Guyon harbor is located in the commune of Lanmodez, on the Lézardrieux peninsula. It offers a breathtaking view of the Trieux estuary and the Bréhat archipelago.
What is the port's capacity?
Porz Guyon is a mooring port with the following facilities:
- 80 berths for local or permanent yachtsmen.
- 4 visitor berths reserved for passing boats wishing to stop over.
What type of navigation can access the port?
This is a beaching harbor. This means that boats must be able to land on the sand or mud at low tide (dinghies, keelboats or boats fitted with crutches). It is therefore imperative to consult the tide tables and coefficients before maneuvering.
Why do we sometimes say "Pors Guyon" and other times "Porz Guyon"?
This is simply a spelling variation. Porz is the correct Breton spelling for "port" or "harbor", while Pors is the francized spelling often found on administrative maps or road signs in Lanmodez. Both terms refer to exactly the same place.
