C?HWEZH HOUARNET, meaning "metallic breath", is a brass trio made up of Louri Derrien, Simon Latouche and Yann-Ewen L?Haridon. The trio draws its inspiration from the traditional repertoire of Central Brittany, both dance repertoire and gwerzioù (Breton laments). They reshape these ancestral melodies with a singular harmonic and rhythmic color, and draw on the depth of the historical texts to guide their interpretations and improvisations. For this exceptional concert, these 3 friends, who have been playing together for years as part of the group Modkozmik Galactik, will offer you a selection of their original compositions. It's the perfect opportunity to let yourself be carried along on a journey whose side roads, if you trust them, will always lead back to Brittany.
