La maison en héritage - Instants créatifs, imaginaire et préservation
A retrospective of the Centre des monuments nationaux?s artistic and cultural education policy at the Maison Ernest Renan in Tréguier.
The ambition of such a policy is to make every participant in the projects a player, in one way or another, in the preservation of a heritage to be passed on. This policy is well established in Tréguier, where the Centre des Monuments Nationaux accompanies a variety of audiences in these creative acts, a selection of which will be presented outdoors between courtyard and garden from April 1, 2026.
Engraving and painting have been the main artistic practices accompanying visits to Ernest Renan?s birthplace. In each case, and for each public involved in these projects, a graphic exhibition of the works produced was planned from the outset.
Schoolchildren from Tréguier, ADT Fourth World beneficiaries, members of the Cercle Culturel Ernest Renan and students from the Lycée J Savina created works and imagined worlds that impressed both their authors and visitors.
These projects were supported by the town of Tréguier and the Lannion Trégor Communauté.
