Once again this year, the multimedia library, in partnership with the Pléboulle-based association L'échiquier des Templiers, is organizing a "Chess" workshop for young and old alike, to learn the rules, get to grips with strategy, and share a convivial moment around the game.

After acquiring the basics during a first cycle between September and December, a reinforcement cycle begins in January 2026, to consolidate knowledge and develop players' skills. The season will end with a tournament on June 7.

The workshop is free of charge, subject to registration and space availability. To take part, register at reception or contact the media library by telephone or e-mail. Equipment is provided on site.
