isquette, Gisèle Pape's second album, is a pop album with a strong electronic influence. Mixed by Ash Workman (Metronomy, Christine and the Queens, Malik Djoudi), it blends electronic pop compositions with rhythmic, poetic writing.

With this new album, Gisèle Pape navigates between dance-floor passages, trap rhythms, luminous melodies and catchy choruses, all carried by a voice that is sometimes sensitive and crystalline, sometimes percussive. Committed and optimistic, Disquette invites us to dance to new possible futures, linking the intimate to the political, to better redraw the contours of the word "we".

A hybrid live duo combining world percussion and electronic machines, the project offers a veritable sonic voyage, oscillating between spicy traditional music and deep, groovy dub techno.

Puffin and Jean-Noël Godard, with their varied backgrounds and aesthetics, meet here in a new universe. Their complicity gives rise to an intense performance, driven by improvisation, sound texture and a constant search for balance between organic and electronic.
