Concert presentation :

Fred Guichen and Jean Pierre Riou met at the beginning of the 1990s in the Breton musical effervescence of the time. Today, this long-standing friendship has given rise to the desire to create a duo, to show and listen to a different interpretation of the accordionist?s repertoire through the guitarist?s sensibility, to better assert this organic instrumental link between Scottish, Irish and Breton compositions and traditions with rock, pop and blues.

Startijenn: This emblematic Breton dancefloor band reveals itself here in a brand-new, unexpected light, in a mix of trad, rock & folk, and succeeds in the tour de force of being both mainstream and experimental. In his own way, he illustrates a modern, incisive Breton musical identity.
