Festival - Jazz Ô Château
The "smallest of the big festivals" returns, with nine days of entertainment and concerts in Saint-Quay-Portrieux and Tréveneuc. We look forward to the 11th edition!
Since its inception in 2015, Jazz Ô Château has offered a vision of the festival in its own image: a festive event, with a programme that is
without being elitist.
On the menu for this year?s edition are a host of concerts, as well as a whole host
entertainment, because we're committed to sharing jazz
in all its forms.
Let's start with the concerts: we'll kick off the festivities on April 25 with ?Ndiaz, the leading group on the new Breton scene
of the new Breton scene, offering a hybrid jazz full of Celtitude and energy.
The mood changes on Thursday, May 30, with the "bal swing" lindy hop dance at the Centre des Congrès on April 30, with the group Kannibal Swing!
On Friday, May 1, it's time for our favorite emerging music scene, with mohs
a soaring trumpet with acoustic and electronic rhythms. In the second half, we
trombonist Robinson Khoury and his trio Mÿa, comprising a percussionist and a keyboardist
a percussionist and a keyboardist, for a musical journey combining Arabic accents, ancient melodies and electro accents?
Saturday, May 2: Shai Maestro! Do we still need to introduce him? The pianist who made his debut at the age of
at the age of 19 with Avishai Cohen, returns in a trio for an exceptional evening?
And let?s not forget the free concerts, which will take place at various venues in Saint-Quay-Portrieux and Tréveneuc
during the week.
