Exposition peinture - Hilarie Couture

Hilarie Couture taught oil painting at St. Francis University in Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA. She believes in passing on her knowledge and helping other artists. She loves painting. In addition to her romantic narrative paintings, her greatest passion is painting portraits. For her, it's not about reproducing a photographic likeness, but rather about recreating the spirit, energy and atmosphere of the moment when she, as an artist, connects with her model or subject. She has won numerous national and local awards, and in this exhibition entitled "Moments Near and Far", she presents us with works from her many experiences that she has sought to immortalize throughout her artistic career. Some may be familiar, others come from regions where she has lived or traveled...
