Exposition : " Les Nouvelles Héroïnes de la Bande Dessinée"

Bianca, Hilda, Charlotte and the others...

This exhibition spotlights 11 strong female figures in contemporary comics and, through them, questions gender and the place of women in the ninth art. It offers a modern vision of heroines, far removed from traditional clichés

Each of the 11 panels presents a heroine, her graphic universe, her story and the issues she raises (emancipation, sisterhood, ecology, social justice, etc.). The plates and texts invite readers to reflect on gender stereotypes, body representations, power relationships and the models proposed to them.
