Exposition - Deux Japons
Galerie Le Linteau Rouge presents an original dialogue between the paintings of François Jeune and the photography of Dany Guèble. Entitled "Deux Japons" ("Two Japons"), this exhibition brings together two sensitive views born of their respective sojourns in the Japanese archipelago.
François Jeune unveils a series of cut-and-mount paintings, inspired by the reminiscence of Japanese colors and spaces. Echoing this, Dany Guèble presents her photographs taken in Japan. Accustomed to the mists of her home island of Arz, here she captures materials, lights and contrasts, retranscribing her astonishments and heartfelt reactions to this faraway nature.
An invitation to travel between pictorial abstraction and photographic vision, to be discovered during an artistic stopover in Côtes-d?Armor.
