Philippe Amagat's figurative, colorful world is deeply rooted in Brittany. His maritime landscapes, inhabited by boats and characters, draw the eye out to sea and invite travel.

The gesture, sometimes with a brush, sometimes with a knife, breathes movement and life into his works. His painting, experienced as a vibrant passion, becomes a genuine space for dialogue, a sensitive encounter between artist and canvas.

Attracted by the changing lights of the Breton coast, he also draws his inspiration from the effervescence of everyday scenes, the energy of music and the dynamism of sport.
