Jacques Tanguy paints Brittany in all its richness: landscapes, coastal architecture, scenes of life and bouquets of flowers. His canvases subtly capture the changing light and fleeting shadows, revealing the evolution of the landscape over the course of the day. Initially guided by values and shades of gray, he gradually creates his own harmonies, arranging colors like so many notes in a musical score. Each painting then becomes a veritable visual symphony, where depth, contrasts and emotions respond to one another, immersing the viewer in a poetic and vibrant vision of the world.
