A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Béatrice Roche Gardies is driven by a sensitivity to the moment and fascinated by the vulnerability of human beings. She has received numerous awards. She is the President of the Association des Peintres de l'Air et de l'Espace (Association of Air and Space Painters). Represented by several French art galleries, her work can be found in private and institutional collections in France and the United States.

Her artistic practice is punctuated by periods of intense creation on the motif and periods of reflection for the composition of large formats and the elaboration of projects for stained glass and sculpture.

She expresses herself through firm drawing and excellent craftsmanship, attaching great importance to the subtle nuances of light and form.

The tangible embodiment of her portraits and the immersive quality of her landscapes, seascapes and aeronautical paintings reveal a keen observation of life.
