Exposition : "Action et contemplation", Mélanie Bourget & Jean-François Scourzic
In Mélanie Bourget?s world, every sculpture is an encounter. A frank glance, a suspended gesture, a fragment of emotion captured in the material. Her figures - bold women, melancholy men, tattooed silhouettes - invite us to guess what lies beneath the surface. Hair sculpted like waves, provocative or dreamy looks, vintage or rebellious tattoos all tell of a life, a story, a secret.
But it's the characteristic raku cracks that give each piece its unique emotional density: like the scars of time, they reveal what words cannot. Mélanie Bourget doesn't just model busts. She captures the breath of the moment, the murmur of the soul.

To accompany her, we'll also discover the black-and-white world of Jean-François Scourzic. His first experience with Guy LeQuerrec enabled him to photograph the Paris Lido, and at the same time scenes of life in Paris.
He also photographed his return to Brittany. His nature walks with his dogs are a way for him to get back into the swing of his art.
Art tour (led by the artists) on Friday August 7 at 6pm.
Exhibition open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm.
