Handicrafts, Tuareg jewelry and cyanotypes
In aid of associations (Tafouk and Fondation ANAK TNK)
The Tafouk association and the ANAK TNK Foundation invite you to discover, on the one hand, metalwork that tells the story of a culture and know-how through Tuareg jewelry, and on the other, cyanotypes in an intense blue.
- The Tafouk association supports and promotes ancestral Tuareg know-how. In so doing, it helps to pass on craft traditions to younger generations. All pieces are handcrafted by Tuareg artisans using traditional methods.
The jewelry on offer is in silver or bronze, adorned with natural stone or ebony. Leather goods are made by Tuareg women.
The association organizes exhibitions and sales, with profits redistributed to local families in a spirit of fraternity and solidarity. In this way, the association contributes to maintaining a local and autonomous economy for the Tuareg people.

ANAK TNK stands for :
- "ANAK" "child" in Tagalog (language of the Philippines)
- "TNK" are the initials of the foundation as it is known in Manila: "Tulay Ng Kabataan".
Which literally means: A bridge for children!
It's the symbol of our work with street children and slum-dwellers over the past 25 years: bridging the gap between children and their families (reconciliation) whenever possible, towards a better life.
Aware of the emergency situation facing children and their families, ANAK-Tnk focuses its actions on four key areas, taking into account their fundamental needs: feeding them, providing them with an education, giving them access to healthcare and offering them a protective environment.
The foundation is represented by Chantal Barbet-Massin and her Cyanotypes. She discovered this technique three years ago and immediately fell in love with it. Since then, she has explored its many possibilities, working with plants, photographs, drawings and documents. She enriches her practice by integrating the techniques she has acquired over the course of her artistic career - drawing, scrapbooking, watercolor or framing - to create sensitive, singular works.
Cyanotype is based on the combination of two photosensitive solutions. Once mixed, they are applied to a support, on which various elements - often plants - are deposited to form an imprint. The whole is then exposed to ultraviolet light, triggering a chemical reaction. After rinsing, the characteristic deep blue cyan appears.
