Mémé K7, Kreiz Breizh Akademi's 10th collective, is a hybrid orchestra bringing together 10 musicians around fiddler Pierre Droual. This audacious project extends and reinvents old songs by 20th-century women from Lower Brittany (Katrin Guern, Julienne Juguet, Marie Goavec, etc.). Far from clichés, the memory of Breton women becomes living, visceral, resolutely rock material.
