Concert : Ensemble Althéa
Baroque and classical music concerts with the following line-up:
harp, violin, cello and 1 mezzo-soprano singer.
Discover the Althéa ensemble, a unique and original encounter between four exceptional musicians: a harpist, a violinist, a cellist and a lyric mezzo-soprano
lyric mezzo-soprano, all of whom have won conservatory prizes (including CNSM de Paris).
Their group, combining string instruments (plucked and bowed) and celestial voices, elegantly explores the richness of chamber and sacred music repertoires.
Driven by a shared passion for well-known works, they propose personal arrangements, sublimating timeless works while infusing them with a bold modernity. Their approach reinvents masterpieces of the musical heritage (from Baroque to contemporary), allowing them to be rediscovered in a different sound aesthetic, or making them accessible and captivating for today?s audiences.
With Ensemble Althéa, every concert becomes a unique virtuoso
experience, where tradition and innovation meet in perfect harmony, and where every note becomes an invitation to contemplation.
