Meïkhâneh?s compositions are nourished by imagination, improvisation and traditional music from Europe, Mongolia and Iran. The luminous, bewitching voices carry the power of Eastern European songs, the airy melodies of wide-open spaces, and the depth of Mongolian diphonic chants.

Five years after La Silencieuse (Buda Musique 2017), Meïkhâneh further affirms the Persian, Mongolian and European influences of its music, at the crossroads of imaginary World Music and Folk. The trio explores interiority and exteriority, the cocoon and the vast world, what is felt and what is said. A call to space, to travel, to nature...
