Balade géologique Site légendaire de Croquelien

Route: 3km walk on relatively easy terrain on and around Mont Croquelien. Presentation of the granite chaos, origin and chronology, special features (enclaves, mineralogical veins, erosion patterns).

The legend of the Margot fairies in the light of geology. Observation of a former granite quarry and presentation of ancient sedimentary rocks (primary schists and quartzites).

Description of the exceptional views to the east and north, landscape analysis and summary of the main geological features observed.
