Artistic practice workshop for all levels with the Brady Duo on the occasion of their visit to Villa Rohannec'h as part of their Jazz Migration tour. Workshop for string players.
Workshop schedule: physical warm-up, body percussion, rhythmic and melodic imitation exercises, construction of a database of sounds and playing modes, free improvisation, construction of a live piece (bass + filler + themes).
The Brady Duo is a Jazz Migration 2025 prize-winner.
Workshop offered as part of Jazz Migration, a support program for emerging jazz and improvised music musicians run by AJC, with the support of the French Ministry of Culture, BNP Paribas Foundation, SACEM, ADAMI, SPEDIDAM, CNM, SPPF and Institut Français.
