Parcours pêche de l'étang du Guic

This 28-hectare reciprocal water body is located on the upper reaches of the Guic river. It marks the administrative boundary between Finistère and Côtes d'Armor.

Classified as a 2nd category lake, it is accessible along its entire length, except for the dike.

You'll find roach, rotengles, bream, carp, perch, pike and eel. Wading is easy, thanks to the gentle slope of the banks.

Since 2021, the lake has been a No Kill pike lake for 5 years. From 2026 onwards, the fishery will switch to a catch window to authorize reasoned harvesting. The aim is to revitalize the population and produce large, biologically and halieutically interesting fish.

Specific regulations :

- Follow Finistère regulations

- 4 rods authorized per angler

- Fishing for predators is authorized exclusively with lures and flies

- Fishing authorized all year round for white fish, in compliance with specific species regulations: pike, zander and perch

- Float-tube authorized by Guerlesquin municipal by-law. Boat and electric motor, application to be made at the town hall

- The upstream pond is in permanent reserve

Services ++ from the tourist office:

* sale of fishing cards

* angler's kit (presentation of routes and prefectoral decrees)

* full program of fishing events

* geolocated access to the banks of the Léguer and Guic rivers

Since 2025, following a national moratorium, fishing for migratory species (Atlantic salmon and sea trout) has been totally banned in rivers, estuaries and the sea, including no-kill fishing.
