Parcours mouche du Losser sur le Léguer

In the heart of the Léguer valley, a 1st category river classified as migratory, you'll be fishing in a remarkable natural area, classified as Natura 2000 and awarded the Site Rivière Sauvage label.

This attractive 1.7 km stretch is located between the Losser and Kervern mills, where the communes of Ploubezre, Le Vieux-Marché and Pluzunet meet. Fishing not available on the right bank, around Coz Coat.

Between 10 and 15 m wide, the river alternates between flowing and non-flowing zones, due to the presence of 4 former mill reaches, more or less in ruins. The river bed is rich in large boulders, offering numerous hiding places for fish, as well as gullies and pools for anglers. The shady banks are regularly maintained by the AAPPMA du Léguer, offering numerous fishing spots along the way.

Advice for trout anglers: fish :

- the whole course, regardless of water levels

- fly fishing, from Moulin de Kervern to Moulin du Losser

Specific compulsory regulations:

- Fishing only with line < 20/100th

- Immediate release of all trout

- Use of a landing net mandatory

- Artificial whip fly fishing only

- Hook without barb or crushed barb

- Losser bridge

- Coat Dunois bridge at Moulin de Kervern

Since 2025, following a national moratorium, fishing for migratory species (Atlantic salmon and sea trout) has been totally banned in rivers, estuaries and the sea, including no-kill fishing.
