Chez Constance

The exhibition "The Bretons of Armorica" tells you the history of Armorica from the 5th to the 7th century. At the end of the 5th century, Brittany was very sparsely populated due to the ravages caused by the barbarian tribes and also the fall of the Roman Empire. At that time, the populations of Cornwall and Wales, grouped by clans or families, fled from the barbarians of the Saxons, Picts, Angles, and especially the Scots of Ireland. They are guided by their religious leaders (the future Breton "Saints") and will find in Armorica a true land of welcome. You will go back in history thanks to a set of models and objects which will make you understand the particularity of this period. This exhibition is the work of Mr. Michel Morel, history enthusiast and accomplished artist.
