Canoë kayak club de Plancoët

The Canoe Kayak Club is located just a stone's throw from the Arguenon river in the center of Plancoët. It offers paddlesports activities at several sites:

- the river Arguenon, from the moulin de la Goupillière towards Plancoët

- on the Lac de Pléven, the Ville Hatte dam reservoir

- on the maritime estuary from Plancoët to Le Guildo at the mouth, depending on the tides

- at sea from Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer, to the Ile des Ebihens, or to the Ile Agot, a bird sanctuary.

The club is open every day in summer, and by reservation out of season, for rental programs, supervised outings and 4-session courses for children wishing to discover the activity (from 7/8 years)

It also organizes "maritime descents" from the river to the sea, from Plancoët to Le Guildo on the estuary, or sea kayaking trips to "discover the islands", or Indian canoe trips on Lac de Pléven.

The general conditions of practice are as follows: be able to swim, be 8 years old for river activities and 10 years old for sea activities.

Appropriate clothing is highly recommended for each activity: waterproof clothing, closed shoes or neoprene booties (windproof, cap, sun cream if necessary)
