Atelier-Galerie David Balade

David Balade, artist-painter, presents at his studio-gallery his latest creations inspired by the symbolism of the sacred arts, and the forms and motifs of nature.

His graphic work draws on traditional pictorial techniques (ink, watercolor, gouache, pastel, collage, illumination) that he has observed and practiced on his many travels.

For the past twenty years, the artist has been exhibiting his work in France and abroad, as far afield as the United States and Japan.

As an author-illustrator, he has published a collection of some fifteen works on Celtic symbols, as well as albums for young people, with Editions Ouest-France.

David offers various 2-hour drawing and painting workshops on site (in the mornings and in parallel with the exhibitions). These workshops are open to beginners and children aged 10 and over.

Summer Celtic drawing workshop from July 2 to 4,

During this workshop, the artist presents the main methods for constructing triskels and

interlacing. At the end of the workshop, he will guide participants in the creation of letters,

animals and personalized motifs. More information below:
