📍 Trébeurden
Vallée de Goas Lagorn
Framed by the cliffs of Pors Mabo and Beg Léguer, the valley borders the communes of Lannion and Trébeurden. It boasts one of the few dune massifs in the area. Behind it lies a wetland with a number of plant species uncommon in the département. With a surface area of 47 hectares, it was once used and maintained by very rustic local farmers. In order to prevent the landscape from becoming closed in and the habitats from becoming commonplace, extensive grazing was reintroduced. A variety of species now graze the rehabilitated meadows. Take a detour along the GR34 and you'll come across the "chapelle St Thurien", also known as the "forgotten chapel".
