Pointe du Grouin

Facing the Pointe du Roselier, the Pointe du Grouin is a veritable balcony overlooking the Bay and its Nature Reserve, listed since 1998.

A strategic defense site, a lookout has been built on the platform of the former blockhouse built by the German army of occupation during the Second World War 1939-1945, to defend the Atlantic Wall.

From October to March, equipped with binoculars, you can observe the many migratory birds that come to take shelter in the nourishing coves at the head of the bay.
