Pointe de Saint-Cast

How do I get there?

From the center of Saint-Cast-le Guildo, head towards the port and follow the road up to the Semaphore.

For hikers, take the pedestrian link at the end of the Grande Plage, cross the Port and walk up to the Pointe (2 km). Once there, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view.

Practical information

The Pointe de Saint-Cast, a veritable natural balcony, offers an exceptional panorama of emblematic sites such as the Baie de la Fresnaye, the majestic Fort La Latte, Cap Fréhel and even as far as Saint-Malo (visible on a clear day). An orientation table will guide you through this visual exploration between land and sea.

It is an ideal starting point for an 8.5 km hiking loop, available on the Saint-Cast-le Guildo town map, on request from the tourist office.

Free parking is available near the Sémaphore, with 2 spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility, although the point is not easily accessible.

A dedicated parking area for motorhomes also provides convenient access.

Did you know?

The site is steeped in history: a cannon, a relic of the Battle of Saint-Cast in 1758, stands proudly next to the monument to the French escapees.
