Pointe de la Houssaye

Pointe de la Houssaye is a complex of volcanic rocks known as the "Erquy spilitic series". It is a subvertical unit, comprising intrusive terms (spilitic sills and keratophyre veins), pillow-lava flows, pyroclastic terms (tuffs and remarkable hyaloclastites) and sedimentary layers.
