Parc du Pré Rolland

Located in the heart of Plancoët, the Pré Rolland park extends over 1.3 hectares on the banks of the Arguenon river, combining nature, leisure and heritage.

Take a stroll among the flower beds, trees and picturesque pond, while enjoying a unique view of the charming houses set in an amphitheatre on the hillside.

A nod to Chateaubriand, who nicknamed this place "his amphitheater".

Explore the old wash-houses on the other side of the river, witnesses to the life of yesteryear, or take advantage of the playgrounds, sports trails and fishing pontoons, suitable for all, even beginners. Perch and black bass await anglers, subject to possession of a fishing licence and immediate release of all catches.

How to get there :

Free parking is available at 11 rue du Verger. There is also a 1 km walkway accessible to manual and electric wheelchairs, baby carriages and accompanied blind and partially-sighted people.

Practical information :

Sanitary facilities, tables, shelters and signposted paths make your visit easy. Round off your day with a visit to the Canoe-Kayak Club de Plancoët, which offers descents on the Arguenon, ideal for exploring the region from a new angle.
