Les Landes du Liscuis
The Landes de Liscuis, close to Lac de Guerlédan, offer a landscape both wild and steeped in history. At their summit are three remarkably well-preserved covered walkways dating back to the Neolithic period, some 6,000 years ago. These ancient collective burials, originally covered with earth, form one of the most important megalithic complexes in the Côtes d?Armor region.
This bewitching site, bathed in mist at sunrise, fascinates with its mysterious atmosphere. The wind-beaten moors, bathed in light, are home to a flora typical of acid soils - gorse, heather, broom - and a discreet fauna that sometimes reveals itself at the turn of a path.
At the top of the trail, walkers are rewarded with a magnificent panorama of the Daoulas valley and the Quénécan forest.
Please note: The trails are closed from October 1 to February 28 to preserve this sensitive natural area.
