Le lac de Kerne Uhel

At the crossroads of the communes of Trémargat, Lanrivain and Peumerit-Quintin, Lac de Kerne Uhel was formed when a dam was built downstream, flooding the valley where the Blavet once flowed peacefully.

With its 74 hectares, this lake remains one of the best-kept secrets of the Côtes d?Armor, its wild shores and clear waters evoking the landscapes of Canada. Its limpid surface, slightly tinged with red, is home to a rich fauna: otters have found refuge here, while numerous birds come to nest or take shelter.

The area around the lake has been landscaped to facilitate observation of this remarkable biodiversity. The Base de loisirs offers a wide range of sporting and water sports activities, attracting a variety of groups all year round, supervised by a dedicated team.

For hiking enthusiasts, a 13 km marked circuit surrounds the lake, inviting you to discover the local flora and the surrounding landscapes, between stretches of water and unspoilt forests.

Lac de Kerne Uhel is thus a privileged place, combining nature, sport and relaxation, offering an authentic experience in the heart of Kreiz Breizh.
