L'étang neuf

L'Etang Neuf in Saint-Connan is a 9-hectare lake dedicated to fishing: trout fishing with flies or lures, depending on the season.

An additional fishing permit is required in addition to your usual fishing card. This can be booked on the Fédération de Pêche des Côtes d?Armor website.

But beyond its natural charm, the Étang Neuf is also a place of remembrance. The nearby Musée de la Résistance en Argoat (Museum of the Resistance in Argoat) provides a powerful and sobering account of local history during the Second World War. Photographs, eyewitness accounts and period artefacts pay tribute to the men and women who fought in the shadows in the heart of Kreiz Breizh.

Between nature and history, this singular site invites contemplation as much as remembrance, in an atmosphere both gentle and contemplative.

The inn allows you to enjoy the entire site, as well as lunch and overnight stays.
