L’Archipel d’îlots de Port-Blanc
The dozen islands and islets are so close to the shore that they offer boaters and kayakers an exceptional site, naturally sheltered from the wind and swell of the open sea.
Each ebb and flow of the tide offers a changing spectacle. Sometimes the sea uncovers the foreshore, creating an impressive lunar landscape, sometimes it attacks the granite rocks of the archipelago.
Some islands, such as Saint-Gildas, are privately owned, while others, such as Île aux Femmes, are accessible on foot at low tide. Find out about tide times before venturing onto the islands and islets.
