If (Taxus baccata) à Guitté
This tree, nicknamed "the yew of the vow", would have been planted under Louis XIII at the birth of the future Louis XIV in 1638. A little later, in 1765, it would have been headed during the revolt of the Parliament. Framed by boxwood hedges, it is a major element of the castle's park.
Accessible during the park's opening hours from 2 pm to 8 pm.
