Gorges du Corong

From the car park, you can take the Minez Guellec hiking trail which will lead you to the Corong gorges

It is the Follézou stream which hums under the rocky chaos. It has managed to make its way despite the boulders that oppose its passage.

In the middle where water, rock and forest meet... it is the dreamed place for the installation of a specific vegetation. Some mosses and ferns cover the shady sides of the boulders.

It is said in the region that the Corong is the work of Boudedé, a giant who was the first man to live in Brittany. One day Boudedé, with his five cents in his pocket, was walking along the road that then bypassed the forest of Duault. The path was difficult and Boudedé's hooves were filled with gravel

Soon his feet were bleeding. Then, in a gesture of anger, he emptied into the valley all the pebbles accumulated in his hooves. Those pebbles grew. Today they are the stones of the Corong.
