Ginkgo Biloba
Long unknown to the western world, ginkgo biloba was brought from Japan around 1692 by the German physician and botanist Engelbert Kaempfer. This tree was planted for the first time in Europe in Holland, in the Botanical Garden of Utrecht in 1730.
Not accessible but visible from the street.
Circumference: 2.8 m, height: 11 m and wingspan: 10 m.
