Etangs du Guic
This 22-hectare lake is located on the upper reaches of the Guic river. It marks the administrative boundary between Finistère and Côtes-d'Armor.
It comprises 2 ponds. The largest was built in 1977 to supply water for the former Guerlesquin abattoir. An artificial dam closes the pond and forms a dike. The old pond, immediately downstream, once fed a mill.
It is mainly populated by roach, bream, carp, perch and pike. It is also home to otters and numerous species of dragonfly.
The lake is closed to swimming, but open to fishing.
Hiking and trail trails take you around the pond.
Dogs are welcome all year round, but must be kept on a leash.
