Étang de Quintin
The pond dates back at least to the 16th century. It once extended over the entire valley. Its marshy parts bordered the walls at the foot of the castle, providing additional defense for the town.
The path around the pond offers postcard-perfect views of Quintin!
This lake offers every advantage for family fishing. A fishing competition is organized every year on May 1st by the Comité des Fêtes de Quintin. Fishing is subject to conditions.
2nd piscicultural category - fishing permit required
Species present : Common carp (any carp caught must be released immediately), Roach, Rotengle, Tench, Perch, Pike (minimum catch size: 1st category 50 cm - 2nd category: 60 cm)
