Etang de Beaulieu

How to get there :

Etang de Beaulieu, located in the commune of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, can be reached by taking the D786, which links Notre-Dame-du-Guildo to Matignon.

Once there, take rue Sainte-Brigitte, follow the road to the sign for "Étang de Beaulieu", then go down a small alley. You can park along the road just a few meters from the pond, as there is no dedicated parking.

For hikers, the pond is also accessible on foot, from the 4 Vaulx beach parking lot, via rue Sainte Brigitte.

Practical information :

This charming stretch of water, just a stone's throw from the sea, is perfect for nature lovers and anglers alike.

The pond has been fitted out with pontoons to facilitate access to fishing, particularly on the left bank, which used to be difficult to access.

It's an ideal place to catch fish such as common carp, roach, tench, perch, pike and black bass.

Beware: the banks are quite steep and the pond is very deep right from the edge. Fishing is permitted on presentation of a fishing card, which can be purchased at Alfa Nautic in Notre-Dame-du-Guildo.

As well as fishing, you can enjoy a nature walk around the pond.
