Espace botanique des Perdrix
The Perdrix botanical area consists of a 3-hectare wooded valley with a small stream running through it. A footpath has been laid out along the Trieux estuary for around 3 km, with light facilities. This compensates for the absence of a coastal easement. Around a hundred species of native trees and herbaceous plants have been inventoried and interpreted (with appropriate signage) in terms of their original scientific names and translations into four languages, including Breton. An information sheet describes the plant's characteristics and uses. Educational panels along the route present the different species of birds and other animals that live in this environment. Many species of ferns and ranunculus in particular are found in this wetland environment. Open to visitors from spring to autumn.
