Cyprès de Lambert

Originally from the Californian coastline, Lambert cypress became very popular on Brittany's coasts in the second half of the 19th century.

It is one of the oldest Lambert cypresses introduced to Brittany. With its exceptional wingspan (23 m) and girth (13 m), this specimen is one of the most colossal trees in France. The annual growth of this exotic species has been "out of the ordinary" and has few equivalents (of any tree species) in Europe. Its age is estimated at 160 years.

On private property, but visible from the street.
