Chêne pédonculé (Quercus robur) - 300 à 400 ans

Set of oaks forming a case around the Sainte-Suzanne chapel and its forecourt. It contributes to the romanticism of the site. The oaks would have been immortalized by the painter JB Corot. The painting is exhibited in the Louvre. It is likely that the oaks are contemporary of the chapel (late sixteenth century)
