Cap d'Erquy

At the eastern edge of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, Cap d'Erquy points its jagged pink sandstone rocks out to sea.

The constantly changing landscapes here are organized along 3 km of seafront, a veritable mosaic of natural environments, with a harmonious succession of beaches, cliffs, moors, dunes, woodlands and marshes. You can also discover the Lacs Bleus, former pink sandstone quarries.

Guided tours for groups all year round by appointment with the Grand Site Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel.

Several hiking trails have been laid out on the Cap d'Erquy site, including :

> the 7.6 km wild beach circuit

> the quarrymen's trail, a 1.7 km interpretation trail

On Cap d'Erquy, you'll come across many reminders of local history, such as the cannonball oven, the guardhouse and the lifeboat shelter.
