Alignement mégalithique du Champ des Roches (cimetière des druides)

How to get there :

Located in Pleslin-Trigavou, the Champ des Roches megalithic alignment is just a few steps from a small parking lot at 32 rue des Mégalithes.

Practical information :

Classified as a Historic Monument in 1889 and owned by the commune since 1985, this alignment of 65 white quartz blocks stretches for 155 metres, forming five impressive lines.

Among them, 55 menhirs are toppled over, but the most imposing stone, 3.50 metres high, bears witness to the end of the Neolithic period.

For hikers, it's part of the "From the menhirs to the vaux garou" trail (12 km, 3 hrs), which winds its way through menhirs, undergrowth and streams.

Did you know?

Legend has it that fairies transported these stones to build Mont-Saint-Michel, but, tired, dropped them in this mysterious spot, now known as the Champ des Roches.
